Ruth Bader Ginsburg became the second woman ever to serve on the US Supreme Court. Throughout that time she fought for gender equality, women’s interests, and civil rights and liberties. Her lifelong advocacy earned the name “Notorious R.B.G” and solidified her as a legend and pop icon. Ginsburg’s nickname “Notorious R.B.G.” plays off the famous rapper “The Notorious B.I.G.” also known as Biggie Smalls.
